Purple Tea
$12.00 – $45.00
Black tea from Kenya.
Something different to your usual black tea – I have a refreshing, slightly bittersweet, woody, earthy taste.
The most special part about me? If you steep me at various times and temperatures, you’ll enjoy a unique flavour and colour profile each time.
Purple Tea
Drink me for:
- A natural energy boost
- A unique black tea twist
- Healthy benefits
More about Me:
Antioxidant rich Purple Tea is grown at high altitudes predominately in the Nandi Hills region of Kenya.
This results in higher levels of antioxidants to protect the leaves from damage (and the altitude means it is pesticide free).
It is crafted from the same plant as many other variations of black and green tea, but is a mutation. The mutation produces the flavonoid “anthocyanin” (the same beneficial antioxidant found in blueberries), and is what gives the tea leaves their distinctive purplish colour.
Purple tea contains less caffeine compared to other black/green teas, and has additional potential health benefits.
Unlike other teas, purple tea contains a special polyphenol .
I’m a great ‘anytime’ tea, especially around meal time as I may aid with digestion or whenever you need a natural pick-me-up i may help with natural energy boost.
This is a very exciting tea and we love that we can offer it to you
