The Strawberry that started it all ….
When I was a kid, my parents had a strawberry farm. They sold strawberries and made Strawberry Jam. I grew up helping at the farm and learnt the art of jam making from mum and dad. My dad got diabetes and he could not have jam anymore. I thought there must be a safe way for dad to enjoy jam again.
My journey started here and grew as I experimented, making jam and marmalade and relish and paste …
Not just Bread and Jam …
My jams are sugar-free and low carb. I want to make them as healthful and tasty as possible.
So here a few tips –
- I do not use preservatives, to keep your jam longer refrigerate after opening and use a jam spoon just like nanna did.
- Swirl the flavour of choice in your yoghurt its just yum!
- Use our jam in your jam drop biscuits.
- Add a flavour boost to your bread and butter pudding.
- Swirl through ice cream or custard.
- Use as flavouring for icing.
- Perfect on Scones with Cream
